Professor Urio, president of ECMI Foundation, director of the department of Political Sciences of University of Geneva, also guest professor of Ticcino University, has invited professor Li Shaoguang, from China Renmin University (Beijing), to Switzerland for one-week academic exchange. Professor Li has arrived yesterday and will give a conference today on the class of postgraduate students in Asian Studies in the University of Geneva.

Professor Li Shaoguang is the director of the Institute Social Security, School of Public Administration in Renmin University of China. He has since long time worked in the field of social security in China, he is one of the most important experts in China pension reform research.

Invited by the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ), a group of 6 urban planning experts led by the China Ministry of Construction (MoC), has visited Switzerland. The delegation was welcomed by the ECMI Foundation this afternoon when they arrived in Geneva. After an information session briefing about the training and cooperation programmes in urban palnning issues between China and Switzerland, the delegation was guided to visit the museum of Maison Travel where they have visited the exhibition on Geneva city's construction history as well as its recent development.
